For people with learning disabilities and autistic people, securing paid employment and entering the workplace can be fundamental to their independence but comes with lots of challenges.
Kisharon Langdon’s innovative social enterprises enable the people we support to experience the world of work in a safe, sensitive and supported environment. Through a range of training and employment opportunities, each enterprise equips people with the tools to expand their knowledge and develop new skillsets. Everyone is valued for their abilities and encouraged to fully participate in all aspects of running the business. In time, many gain the confidence to explore job opportunities outside of Kisharon Langdon.
As well as being a springboard to further employment, our social enterprises are popular and thriving businesses in their local communities. They are not-for-profit with all proceeds transferred straight back into Kisharon Langdon, ensuring even more people can benefit from the services we offer.
