At Pesach, we re-tell the story of finding our voice. For Tova, that journey has been deeply personal.
Growing up, Tova had some lovely classmates who cared for her deeply and she truly valued their friendship. However, learning and socialising in the same way as her peers wasn’t always possible, and she longed for connections where she could be herself.
When Tova was 12, her parents turned to Kisharon Langdon. Joining our Brady Youth programme changed everything. Surrounded by people who understood her, Tova formed genuine friendships and began to relax. For the first time, she didn’t feel the need to hide who she was. Once quiet and unsure, Tova slowly began to find her confidence and her voice.
Moving on to Kisharon Langdon College felt like coming home. With familiar faces, a nurturing environment and a strong sense of routine and belonging, Tova flourished. Through work experience and drama classes, she has grown in confidence, learning to express her opinions and stand up for herself. Performing in front of her family fills her with pride and strengthens her sense of connection.
Today, Tova continues to grow in confidence and independence, supported every step of the way.
